Seriously, kudos if you laughed just as hard as I did.
HEY GUYS! By now you all probably get that I don't post often unless inspiration hits me like a ton of bricks and I kinda want to work on that this year. New changes are in the process of being made and one obvious
change would be my blog layout. I feel a fresh new look would be a good start. I'm currently in the middle of revamping
it, so being the perfectionist that I am, you may see a little changes
here and there within the next few days, so please bear with
incomplete parts and pieces. Another change would be my domain name, Dcindaheezy! I first launched HouseofDC
while I was in my Lady Gaga phase back in 2010, so it was very fitting
while being heavily influenced by the ever-so-striking Mama Monster
herself. I thought about it and while I still have a lot of love for
Gaga, I feel that HouseofDC doesn't represent who I am today. I felt
that it sort of had a stern vibe to it and it wasn't what I was going
for.
So where the hell did Dcindaheezy
come from? Lol long story short, it sprouted from a joke by my brother
while trying to come up with a Skype username for me. Basically used it
for giggles then it naturally became my username for a couple of other
sites and it sort of just stuck. There is absolutely no relevance to
makeup in the name whatsoever, I see that..haha. It's hard to explain
and I know it looks really ridiculous, but it's just more me, more laid-back. I feel that it wouldn't restrict me from including more content other than makeup. Besides, it isn't too far off from my original title. Just think of it as the same, but with a little more swag. Lolol.
Plans. As for other content I plan on adding to my blog, it's hard to say right now since I want to include and do so many things. Maybe little reviews on products, music spotlights on K-indie, I may even do little outfit posts...maybe. I do however, plan to keep doing tutorials and makeup looks especially ones based on Kpop MVs because there is just SO MUCH inspiration and so much creativity in concepts these days (VIXX, I'm looking at you).
We shall see! Until then, thanks to those who are still reading my stuff! Wish me luck~ I may or may not have something up tomorrow.. -insert evil laughter-
