Child, you have been living under a rock if you don't get what this adorable card is trying to tell you! Check out In-vita Paper Studio's Etsy shop along with other, "Pretty Things on paper"! Also, how UBER CUTE is this?!

Hey guys! This is Part 2 of my V-day tutorial series! You can check out Part 1, which is a Daytime Date look, here. To be honest, I was supposed to post this right after Part 1, but just after I was getting done taking pics for this Date Night look, I uploaded them and I felt like something just wasn't right. I guess I just wasn't fully satisfied with the outcome. The photos were so-so, in my opinion. I showed it to my mom and she said there wasn't anything wrong with them. I thought otherwise. I just thought I could've done a better job. I was going to do a simple taupe eyeshadow look, with a dramatic winged eyeliner..but I KNEW I had more to offer than just..that. I admit I can be perfectionist, so with that said, I did the entire look over. But you know, it was worth it. If I know I'm happy (and COMPLETELY satisfied) with my work, I know you all will be happy with it as well, rather than me looking back on it and have regrets and "what-if's".

So here, with a newly revamped look, I give you my V-day Date Night tutorial! I hate using descriptive words like, "Sultry" and what-not, haha. It's really awkward for me. Nevertheless, enjoy my smokey eye and classic red lip look!

Ch-ch-ch-check it out 'yo!

Today's look requires a thin layer of primer and foundation, a touch of peach-colored blush (again, I love peach blush!) but you can use any pinky-rose blush as well, and a red lipSTAIN. I chose to use a stain particularly because for a date look, you really don't need to be busy worrying about lipstick getting on your teeth. Your main focus should be on the date alone, so I thought a stain would be perfect. No mess, no pesky need-to-use-the-little-girl's-room retouches, no fuss. I used Revlon's ColorStay Ultimate Lipcolor in Supreme Sienna. I am telling you guys, this product will not budge! It's ridic. Haha. The only way I could get rid of it was by wiping it off after rubbing a bit of cold cream on my lips. It's that intense!

For those who might be a bit iffy and a bit scared of red lipsticks, here's some info on how to choose the right shade for yourselves. The best way to choose is based on your skintone.

*Note: The following lipsticks are just what they are, lipsticks. Not lipstains! I'm just trying to give you an idea on what appropriate color is best for your skintone. :)

Paler skintones with pink undertones, kind of like a rosy undertone are generalized as cool skins.
Shades to look for:
- Brick reds; you can try NYX's Snow White
- Berry reds; you can try NYX's Hebe
- Reds with a blue undertone; you can try N.Y.C.'s Ultra Moist Lipstick in Ruby
Heads up! Reds with blue undertones give your teeth a whitening effect. It's weird, but it does work!

Warm skintones, with yellow undertones. Medium or Olive complexions.
Shades to look for:
- Reds w/ brownish undertones; you can try NYX's Ulysses
- Tomato reds; you can try NYX's Apollo
- Orange-reds; you can try NYX's Herades
- Red-Burgundy; You can try NYX's Espresso

Deeper, lovely rich skintones.
Shades to look for:
- Deep reds; you can try NYX's Espresso
- Burgundies; you can try Kat Von D's Hellbent

Hope that helps guys! I know I mentioned a ton of NYX, but that's just because I'm more familiar with their lipsticks. :)

Face Prep:
- Wash and moisturize. Exfoliate if needed. Important!
- Prime the face. Focus on enlarged pores and imperfections.
- Minimal/thin layer of foundation; a pea-size/Lima bean size amount will do. Use fingertips for controlled application.
- Conceal any visible flaws; focus on dark circles. Us your ring finger for light pressure when applying. Don't tug your skin! Espesh around the eye area. :)
- Lightly apply a matte face powder to set foundation in it's place using a fluffy brush.
- Take an eyebrow pencil or eyebrow powder (any eyeshadow close to you natural hair color will do as well) and lightly fill-in sparse area with an angled shadow brush.

For those who are curious about the products I used for my face:
- Rimmel Fix and Perfect primer in 001
- Bare Escentuals concealer
- Rimmel Matte Foundation in Ivory
- Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in Sandstorm
- NYX Eyebrow Powder

*cough* As you can probably tell, I copied and pasted this information from Part 1..*cough*

For eyeshadows, I used the colors marked above from Coastal Scent's 88 Palette. If you don't have this particular palette, you can use any eyeshadows similar to the colors above. :)

Here we go, finally~!

Photobucket
Prime your eyes, and dab a white base like NYX's Jumbo Pencil in Milk on your lids, not going over the crease and blend with you ring finger.

Take the dark brown from the palette above and sweep the color across, right above your natural crease and blend upwards using a fluffy blending brush, but avoid passing up to the brow bone.

Take the black from the palette above and using crease defining brush, sweep back and fourth just across your crease itself. Now take the light grey color and apply that right above the crease, at the edge of the defined crease we created and blend.

Use the light brown and apply that right in between the brow bone and the area above the defined crease and blend.

We are going to be using the white pearlescent eyeshadow pigment we used in Part 1, and apply that on your lid close to your lash line, where we applied the white base. And take a matte white e/s and apply that right on your brow bone as a highlight.

Line your lash line and upper water line (if you can) with any eyeliner you have. Winging them out is optional, but who doesn't love a winged cat-eye?

Now take the dark brown e/s we used earlier, and sweep the color right on your lower lash line all the way across until you've reached your inner corner.

Now line your lower lash line and water line. Final step is adding falsies, or if your prefer, just skip that step and just curl your lashes a few times and use a good curling mascara. And you're done!

Swipe your blush like your would contour your cheekbones and lightly sweep up to your temples and lightly on the apples of your cheeks for a pinched look. Don't overdo your blush as we want attention only for both your eyes and lips for this look. Apply your red lip stain as you would with lip liner; outline the lips first, then fill in the areas.

There you have it folks! Hope you enjoyed EVERYTHING in this blog post. Haha. It's almost 2am here and I'm so happy I'm done! Haha. Blogging can be really tiresome! Before I pass-out, I leave you with again another V-day themed song, this time by San E featuing JOO entitled, "원하잖아" which translates to, "You Want It" I believe. But nonetheless, it's a great song! Have a happy happy Valentine's Day people! Whether you have a special someone to spend it with, or a group of friends even family, spend it with the people who mean the most to you and have a good time! Enjoy~~!
