Hope everyone is having an amazing week so far! Today's look is a lot more wearable with a simple eye, and lips with a hard-hitting POW. I know I told myself that this was the week I'd do a really elaborate look much like ANIMATE, but I've been feeling pretty down today and I just wasn't in the mood to go all out at all. With that, I haven't had much of a drive either, so I am pretty disappointed with myself. But I figured I'd do a blog post, maybe then I could keep my cool and hopefully distract myself from, "real life" and get away for short millisecond.
What better than a tube of vibrant lipstick to try and cheer me up! It's been quite sometime since I've ventured out of my usual natural, pale/nude, gloss only lip. Figured, what the hell. Change is great. Sometimes you need to flip things around, to get even the littlest bit of satisfaction and that "breath of fresh air", even if it is something as simple as a tube of lipstick. It's silly, but I do feel better. And I do feel pretty cute, but that's only a plus. ;)

You can always rim the lips with a lip liner prior to lipstick application to prevent from lipstick bleeding, but a dab of foundation on the lips will also do the trick.
So for anyone having a bad day, or have lost that upbeat feeling lately, especially with everything going on in the world today, and lipstick isn't quite the magic wand you're looking for, definitely check out this blog I recently stumbled upon called Things We Forget. Again, just like my lipstick, it's one of those smaller things that could make a big difference to your day. Take a gander, it's worth it. I guarantee you'll be left with a smile on your face. :)
